v1.1.7
16 Avgust 2026
The site now carries the project logo. Alongside it, a calendar you download as a PDF or an image is made to be printed, and paper has rules of its own: a grey that looks refined on screen prints as a faded black, and the smallest lettering in the grid closes up as soon as the ink spreads. The rest of this release is about how the exported sheet reads on paper.
●
Changed
The site now carries the project logo. The OnlineCalendar.pro mark has been refreshed and replaced everywhere it appears.
●
Changed
Text in exported PDFs and images is now printed in solid black instead of dark grey. Headings, panel text, the list of events and the credit line at the foot of the sheet are all affected. Grey has to be printed as a pattern of separated dots, which at the size of an exported calendar reads as washed out or slightly out of focus; solid black is laid down as one ink, so the edges of the letters stay crisp — and nothing is lost when you print in black and white or in draft quality.
●
Changed
Week numbers and day names are now set smaller in the exported sheet than they are on screen. The printed grid is far tighter than the one in your browser, and at the on-screen size these two small labels crowded the dates and risked touching one another. They now have a size chosen for paper. On screen they are unchanged.
v1.1.6
13 Avgust 2026
Eleven countries stretch across more than one time zone — the United States alone spans twenty-one hours from American Samoa to the Northern Mariana Islands. Until now, picking a state or region in one of those countries left the time unchanged, as though the whole country shared a single clock. Both the time and the date now follow your choice, down to the places that sit half an hour off the hour.
●
Fixed
Choosing a state, province or region in a country that spans several time zones now updates the time and the UTC offset shown in the status bar. Previously they stayed on the zone the page had opened with: every US state showed New York time, every Australian state showed Sydney time. Fixed for all eleven affected countries — the United States, Canada, Australia, Mexico, France, Spain, Portugal, the Netherlands, Denmark, Finland and Norway — and checked one by one against the real time in each zone.
●
Fixed
Places that sit half an hour off the hour are now shown correctly: Northern Territory and South Australia as UTC+9:30 rather than UTC+9, Newfoundland and Labrador as UTC−2:30 rather than UTC−2.
●
Fixed
Aruba, Svalbard and Baja California can now be picked and the time follows. These regions keep the same public holidays as the rest of their country, and for that reason the calendar used to treat choosing them as a change of name only — even though they are in a different time zone.
●
Fixed
The date now follows the region as well, not just the time. Picking Hawaii from the United States showed the correct Hawaiian time but still marked the following day as today — and a public holiday taking place that day could appear among the ones already past. Choosing a region no longer moves you away from the month you were looking at: only today changes.
v1.1.5
13 Avgust 2026
A visitor from Switzerland noticed that the clock on the Switzerland page was running an hour behind. Looking into it turned up something bigger: the calendar could hold on to the moment a page was first put together, instead of keeping up with the present. The clock was the visible symptom; the same issue could also make a holiday that had already passed still appear among the upcoming ones. Both are now fixed, and the fix works the same way in every one of the 36 countries and their time zones.
●
Fixed
The clock in the status bar could run behind the real time — by anything from a few minutes to well over an hour, depending on the page. It now always shows the current time in the time zone of the country you are looking at, and it stays right no matter how long the page has been open or how you reached it. Checked across Europe, North America, Asia and Australia, including countries that are currently on summer time.
●
Fixed
Just after midnight, a public holiday or long weekend that had already passed could still be listed among the upcoming ones. Each country now rolls over to the new day at its own local midnight: the Swiss pages change over at midnight in Zurich, the Australian ones at midnight in Sydney. Days when the clocks go forward or back are handled correctly.
●
Fixed
The highlight marking today could stay on the previous day after midnight. It now follows the local date of the country shown.
v1.1.4
07 Avgust 2026
Three new countries are now available: Mexico, Australia and Canada. Together they add 53 states, provinces and territories, each with its own time zone and its own public holidays. Canada is available in both English and French. Every holiday has been checked against several independent reference sources before publication.
●
Added
Mexico is now available, with all 32 states. The seven national public holidays are included, along with the years in which three of them moved to a fixed Monday, and the presidential inauguration day that recurs every six years.
●
Added
Australia is now available, with all 8 states and territories. Only seven holidays apply nationwide: everything else — including the King's Birthday and Labour Day, which fall on different dates in different states — is listed per state. Part-day public holidays on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve are included where they apply.
●
Added
Canada is now available in English and French, with all 13 provinces and territories. Thanksgiving, Victoria Day, Remembrance Day and Boxing Day are not nationwide holidays in Canada, so they are shown only where they actually apply.
●
Added
The country selector now offers 36 countries. Picking a state or province updates both the holidays shown and the time zone used by the calendar.
●
Fixed
Holidays that shift to a substitute day are now handled correctly in every case, including the Australian sequence where Christmas falls on a Sunday and the following holiday moves on by two days.
v1.1.3
15 Julij 2026
This release makes pages load faster and fixes a case where a region you picked by hand could reset itself. The calendar now appears sooner, and your chosen region stays selected when you refresh or move between pages.
●
Changed
Pages now load faster: non-essential scripts and animations no longer delay the first view, so the calendar appears sooner — most noticeably on mobile.
●
Fixed
The region you select by hand is now reliably kept after you refresh the page or move between pages, for every country. Previously, on some countries a chosen region — for example Svalbard in Norway — could revert to the default after a reload.
